since the year is nearly gone, and plenty of us are thinking of next year and what angling adventures it might bring, and pondering our 'best days' from this year now past, I thought it'd be fun, and bring back some memories, to post your favorite fishing pic from 2008.  please post the pic you or your buddy took of whatever fishing image make you smile, makes you remember, makes you long for next cobia season, clear water trout day, flounder under the lights or whatever brings up the spirit for you, from 2008.  please post the pic, even if they have been posted here before.  some of us don't get to visit the forum as often as we'd like to, and may not have seen many of the pics in the past.

I caught a good bit of fish this year including my largest-to-date tripletail at 16-pounds. Sight fished it off a buoy in Georgia.

That's not my picture though. what makes me look forward to fishing most next year is the pics below.

Her first fish. Hooked it and landed it solo. Then wanted to kiss it.

Reeled it in and, again, wanted to kiss it -- after she was done petting it.

Sorry I posted so many dang pictures. This was mine and my Fathers first season back home in a LONG LONG time. We had a great year of fishing. Between Inshore and offshore and some tournaments.

We can't wait till next year, looks like right now we may both get to stay relatively close to home for a while longer. So after shaking all the fishing Cob Webbs off this year we are going full throttle next year.

Merry Christmas and a HAPPY New Year to everyone and your families from the King family!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My favorites are always the underwater pictures. Unfortunately I didn't get out as much as I would like this year so I don't have a lot of good pic's to choose from.

Had a great trip with my brother to Gulf Shores this summer

Got down and dirty with some nice kings

This is how we caught 'em

4 mornings and tallied 15 kings, 1 5.5' Blacktip and many smacks, Bonita, ladyfish, hardtails (bait for the kings) All but 2 kings released

Relaxing on the beach

Better tighten that drag boy, he's gonna spool ya

Two of my favorite gals fishing for sheephead in April

Dale bowed up on light tackle...

Jamie's expert landing...what teamwork!

Jamie with a nice 6lb'r...

Jamie playing' it on ultralite like a pro she is...what form! the ladies wore us out!

dock shot...let's just say, the girls taught us a thing or two...

the prize...what a great sheep run this past spring and unforgettable...

too bad...some fillets were lost due to
unforeseen circumstances...and it wasn't this one's fault...enjoy...
